Quick start — five steps

1. Add your gear. Open My gear and add your tent, light, fan and the rest. Record it once — you can drop it into any grow's setup later.
2. Stock your Shelf. Add your nutrients and additives with stock level and dose per litre. Feeds draw down stock automatically and warn you when something runs low.
3. Create your first grow. Open Grows and tap New grow: name it, pick the medium, add plants & pots, set the light schedule and tick the growth stages.
4. Set up a feeding program. Open Schedule and tap New program to plan feeds over time, then assign it to your grow. Upcoming feeds appear on Home under Up next.
5. Log your first feed. Tap Log a feed. Start from a preset if you like, set the water quantity, adjust the mix and save.

Start a new grow

1. Open Grows and tap New grow.
2. Name it and set the medium (soil, coco, hydro…), plant count and pot sizes.
3. Pick the plant type — photoperiod or day-neutral (auto); the growth stages tick to match.
4. Tick the stages it goes through and choose a feed preset for each.
5. Add any setup & gear, then save.

Log a feed

1. Tap Log a feed (from Home, the sidebar, or a grow).
2. Optionally pick a preset under Start from a preset to fill the mix.
3. Set the water quantity — every nutrient amount scales with it — and any source-water readings.
4. Adjust the nutrient mix and final measurements; add photos if you like.
5. Save — the feed lands in History and the Timeline, and draws down Shelf stock.

Save a feed as a preset

1. While logging a feed, use Save as preset — or open Presets and tap New preset.
2. Give it a name, stage (seed/veg/bloom) and plant type.
3. Tweak the nutrients, source-water readings and measurements, then save.
4. It now appears for matching grows and stages — a repeat feed is one tap.
5. The list groups presets under their feeding program (in step order), keeps your own under Custom presets, and has a search box for finding any preset or nutrient by name.

Set up a feeding program

1. Open Schedule and tap New program.
2. Add steps: a feed name plus a day or week — or make it recurring (every n days), or pin an exact date.
3. Pick what each step counts from: the grow's start, or the start of its stage — so bloom week 1 begins at the flip. Apply to all copies the choice to the whole stage.
4. Assign it from the program's card, or in the grow's editor under Stages & feeding → Feeding program. Picking a stage preset that belongs to a program also offers to assign the whole program.
5. Upcoming feeds now show in Schedule and on Home under Up next; stage-based steps appear once the grow reaches that stage.
6. When one is due, tap Log — the feed opens prefilled. The + button also follows the program: it prefills the current step's mix automatically, so you never switch presets by hand.

Where the quick-log mix comes from

1. Tap + and the mix arrives prefilled — quick log picks the source for you, always in the same order.
2. First: a feed scheduled for today for this grow. Logging it also ticks it off the schedule.
3. Otherwise: the current step of the grow's assigned feeding program — the note names the program and the step.
4. Otherwise: the feed preset chosen for the grow's current stage (grow editor → Stages & feeding).
5. No match? The form starts blank. The note under the header always says which source was used; the (i) next to the title explains this order on the spot.
6. Edits in the quick log change that one feed only — the preset and the program are never modified.

Choose Simple or Full tracking

1. Pick your style on the welcome screen, or any time in Settings → Detail level.
2. Simple keeps logging light: quick log asks just water and notes, and new grows skip the auto feed presets.
3. In the grow editor, Simple folds the advanced sections — tap one to open it, and the (i) explains what’s inside.
4. Full shows everything: readings, presets, programs and gear, all up front.

Turn on reminders

1. Open Settings → Notifications and switch on Enable reminders (allow notifications when asked).
2. Pick a reminder time that suits your routine — reminders arrive around then, not to the minute, so your phone can save battery.
3. Choose what to be reminded about: upcoming feeds, stage changes, meter calibration and cure steps.
4. On the free plan upcoming feeds arrive as one daily digest; Pro adds a reminder per event and the other categories.
5. Add custom one-off reminders with a note and a date (e.g. “Check trichomes”).

Track your gear

1. Open My gear and add your kit (tent, light, fan, AC…).
2. Or, inside a grow's setup & environment, tap the bookmark on a field to save it.
3. Next grow: open My gear in the setup section and tap an item to drop it in.

Complete a grow (harvest)

1. On the grow's card, open the … menu and tap Complete grow.
2. Enter the harvest date, yield and any harvest notes.
3. Choose what you'll do with the harvest — dry & cure, use fresh, preserve, or decide later. Guidance in the summary adapts to your choice; drying also asks for the closest crop.
4. Tap Complete & view summary — days, feeds, total water, average EC/pH.
5. Share the summary if you like; the grow moves to the Harvested section.

Track a dry and cure

1. Complete the grow and choose Dry & cure — the harvest summary shows the guide for that crop.
2. Tap Mark as jarred the day it goes into jars. Drying steps count from the harvest date, curing steps from this one.
3. Pick a cure plan for dated steps you can tick off. Five come built in, one per crop; steps that count from jarring wait under Starts when you jar until you do.
4. A curing grow gets its own card on Home — the day count, what’s next, and a tick to mark it done.
5. Use Edit cure plan to make your own copy of a built-in plan, or New cure plan to start from scratch.
6. Tap Cure complete when it’s ready and record the final dry weight.

Track variety success

1. Open Varieties and tap Add variety — name, breeder, type, and seed counts (remaining, sown, germinated).
2. Start grows from a variety, and its track record fills in by itself.
3. Check the success and germination rates once grows finish.
4. Tap Start a new grow on a proven variety to start the next round.

Pick or build calculators

1. Open Tools — via the Tools link next to the tool cards on Home, or from the Tools area in the in-app Help.
2. Switch on the ready-made calculators you want. Per-feed ones show while logging and on Home; per-grow ones add up in Grow totals.
3. Want your own maths? Tap Advanced: custom formula.
4. Name it and write the formula — a small expression like round(waterQtyLiters / plantQty, 2). The variables you can use are listed right below the field.
5. Add a display unit label if you like, then tap Save calculator — it joins your picked list.

Back up or move your data

1. Open Settings and find the Data section.
2. Tap Export backup and tick which categories to include.
3. To restore, tap Import backup, pick the file, and choose what to bring in.
